Welcome Message
Dear Esteemed Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that we extend a warm welcome to all participants of the 9th IFSO APC alongside the 22nd OSSICON Congress, taking place from February 20th to 22nd, 2025, at the magnificent JIO Convention Centre in Mumbai, India.
The Asia Pacific region holds a significant portion of the world’s diabetes cases, and Metabolic Surgery stands at the forefront of transforming diabetes care, serving as the focal theme of our congress. We eagerly anticipate engaging discussions with experts from across the globe on the current landscape of Metabolic Surgery.
February 20th, 2025, will feature pre-conference courses and a live operative workshop. We have curated a diverse array of courses covering topics such as Sleeve, RYGB, OAGB, Robotics, Revisions, Management of Hernias in the Obese, and Nutrition.
The main congress, scheduled for February 21st and 22nd, will encompass plenary sessions, stimulating debates, keynote lectures, and panel discussions. Additionally, we have dedicated a separate hall for abstract presentations, offering a prime platform for sharing research insights at this esteemed international congress.
Beyond the academic program, we have planned an enchanting social evening at the exquisite Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, culminating in a memorable banquet dinner. It promises to be an evening of camaraderie and cultural enrichment.
Mumbai, renowned as the financial capital of India and home to Bollywood, the country’s largest film industry, boasts a wealth of attractions both within the city and its environs. With pleasant weather forecasted, it presents an ideal opportunity for attendees to explore the city with their families.
We eagerly anticipate the arrival of colleagues and friends from around the world to this international congress, where academic exchange and professional networking converge seamlessly.
